The Wagon has yet to die and cadillac offers one

First the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon gets it’s power train from the CTS-V, along with chassis and various design cues. Most notably first time viewers of this pumped up Wagon will notice the wide mouth wire-mesh bumper. The raked lines from the square jaw of the CTS-V Wagon continue along the profile and culminate with the rear bumper and unique spoiler. The flashy design elements aren’t for none, what lurks under the hood is just as unique and deserving of wild looks.


Power comes to the rear wheels via a 6.2 liter V8 super charged engine, capable of delivering over 550 horsepower. To keep things fun Cadillac offers either a 6 speed manual transmission or an automatic. Slowing the horses down will be over sized Brembo brakes and grip delivered by 19? Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 performance tires. The huge tires and flashy rims look right at home on the long Wagon, hunched just enough to deliver usable power, along with Cadillac’s ride dampening system.


Worthy of a Wagon name, the CTS-V also sports a whopping 25.4 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, capable of expanding to 58 cubic feet when the seats are locked down. To put this in perspective, the 2010 Cadillac Escalade SUV offers 60.3 cubic feet with the 3rd row seats removed. The CTS-V Wagon comes standard with a power assisted rear gate and optional sun roof.
